Capricorn Dancer is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 built in France and launched in 2000. Initially, it cruised around the Whitsundays near the Tropic of Capricorn, then to Pittwater in Sydney, and now further south to Melbourne. The Kovac family recently purchased this boat as an upgrade from their 22-foot Timpenny.

We intend to cruise and explore the bay first, then consider longer passages along the coast.

We hope to have many family adventures and allow my sons to learn practical sailing skills such as harnessing the wind, trimming the sails, and understanding the tides and weather. I also look forward to teaching the kids practical navigation skills with maps and a compass.

We hope to participate in many club races once we get a better feel for the boat. As new members, we are excited to meet the other members and participate in the many club activities.
